♦ Section 01
Car PPF Care
Proper maintenance extends the life of your ARMORX PPF and keeps the self-healing, hydrophobic properties performing at their peak.
Best Practices
Wait 48 Hours Before Washing
After installation, allow the film to fully cure for at least 48 hours before any water contact or washing.
Use pH-Neutral Car Shampoo
Always wash with a pH-neutral, PPF-safe shampoo. Avoid dish soap or household detergents — they degrade the topcoat.
Rinse with Low-Pressure Water
Use a gentle rinse or touchless wash. High-pressure jets aimed directly at film edges can lift corners over time.
Apply PPF-Safe Sealant
Use a ceramic or PPF-compatible sealant every 3–6 months to maintain hydrophobic performance and gloss depth.
Park in Shade When Possible
Prolonged UV exposure is managed by the film, but shaded parking extends the life of the topcoat and self-healing layer.
What to Avoid
No Abrasive Compounds
Never use cutting compounds, clay bars, or abrasive polishes directly on PPF. They scratch the surface permanently.
No Wax with Petroleum Distillates
Carnauba waxes with petroleum distillates cause film discoloration. Use only PPF-compatible wax or sealant.
No Pressure Washing Edges
Avoid directing high-pressure water at film edges, especially at door jambs and bumper wraps.
No Solvent-Based Cleaners
Acetone, alcohol-based sprays, and solvent cleaners will damage the film surface and void warranty.
♦ Self-Healing Tip
Minor swirl marks and light scratches disappear on their own in warm sunlight (30–40°C). For faster results, pour warm water (50°C) over the affected area — the TPU topcoat reflows and heals within seconds.

Wall Film Durability
ARMORX wall films combine architectural aesthetics with industrial-grade protection — built for both residential interiors and commercial exteriors.
Outdoor Lifespan
ARMORX wall films are engineered for 7+ years of outdoor durability under direct UV, rain, and humidity exposure without peeling or fading.
Film Thickness
At 200 microns, the film resists surface abrasion, minor impacts, and daily contact wear — ideal for high-traffic commercial spaces.
Seamless Coverage
60-inch wide rolls allow large wall installations with minimal seams, delivering a clean, professional finish on any surface.

Wall Film Maintenance
Wipe with Damp Cloth
For routine cleaning, a damp microfiber cloth removes dust and light stains without damaging the film surface.
Avoid Sharp Objects
While the film resists abrasion, sharp tools or keys dragged across the surface can cause permanent cuts.
No Steam Cleaning
High-temperature steam can soften the adhesive layer and cause bubbling or edge lift on wall installations.
Mild Detergent for Stains
For stubborn marks, use a diluted mild detergent with a soft cloth. Rinse with clean water immediately after.

Installation Process
Step-by-step installation guides for ARMORX Car PPF and Wall Film. Follow these procedures for a warranty-valid, professional-grade result.
Surface Decontamination
Wash the vehicle thoroughly with iron remover and clay bar treatment. Remove all tar, wax, and contamination. The surface must be 100% clean before film application.
Paint Correction (If Needed)
Any existing swirl marks, scratches, or oxidation must be corrected before PPF installation. The film locks in the paint condition permanently.
Panel Measurement & Cutting
Use a DAP (Digital Application Pattern) software or hand-cut the film to precise panel dimensions. Bulk film is cut with a 3–5mm overlap at edges.
Slip Solution Application
Spray the panel and film backing with a slip solution (water + baby shampoo). This allows repositioning during application without activating the adhesive prematurely.
Film Placement & Squeegee
Position the film on the panel and use a hard squeegee with a felt tip to push out all water and air bubbles from center to edges in firm, overlapping strokes.
Edge Tucking & Heat Forming
Use a heat gun (50–60°C) to stretch and tuck film edges cleanly around curves, door jambs, and bumper edges. Avoid overheating — it can cause adhesive failure.
Curing Period
Allow 24–48 hours of curing at room temperature before any water exposure. Full adhesive cure takes 7 days — avoid high-pressure washing during this period.
